Due to remarkable growth in travel, we are urgently seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Luxury Africa Travel Consultant to join our client’s busy team. Our client offers utterly bespoke travel across the globe with an excellent reputation in the travel industry. Office and homeworking roles are available.
We would consider Travel Consultants who have lived and worked in Africa with travel sales experience or currently an Africa Travel Expert with UK experience seeking something a little different.
Your career begins here, duties include:
- Creating and selling fabulous “holiday of a lifetime” travel to clients, always trying to surpass expectations and add wonderful detail.
- Planning, selling and implementation of itineraries across Africa including Botswana, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Seychelles, Morocco, Mozambique. Namibia, Rwanda, South Africa Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
- Arranging a wide range of holiday types to suit each customer including honeymoons, safaris, tours, beach holidays, trekking, adventure, sailing, private jet, the list is endless!
- Developing and maintaining regular contact with clients to engender repeat business.
- Assisting with marketing and PR activities and keeping in touch with suppliers for product updates.
- Offering a cutting edge customer service to highly discerning clients.
Essential Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of Africa is essential with sales experience within a tour operator or travel agent either in Africa or the UK.
- Excellent communication including superior written skills, customer service and meticulous attention to detail.
