We are seeking an experienced Groups Travel Consultant to join a highly successful travel company due to remarkable growth to work remotely.
They offer a wide range of holiday types across the globe groups travel, meetings and events.
This role is ideal for a travel professional with GDS experience seeking career progression and something a little different.
Duties:
- Creating new travel bookings and supporting all post-confirmation enquiries such as changes and cancelations, while maintaining an exceptional level of customer service.
- Servicing our customer’s travel needs via phone and email
- Servicing bookings from start to finish, including post booking activities
- Utilising outbound calling, up-selling and cross-selling, along with other techniques, to maximise revenue, using a consultative sales approach
- Focusing on group flight and hotel bookings
- Partnering with Destination Management Companies and event providers to offer additional products globally
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in business or leisure travel
- Legal right to work and live in the UK
- Native GDS experience, such as Amadeus, Sabre or Galileo
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
