Our team here at Platinum Travel Recruitment are collaborating closely with a great charity, Reuben’s Retreat who support families with complexly poorly children and families of child loss.
Desperate to ensure his short but precious life was not in vain, Reuben’s Mummy Nicola started the charity to help other families walking a similar path.
Reuben’s Retreat offers a range of services including counselling, support groups, activity & therapy days, short breaks for life-limited children and their families along with bereavement breaks.
To date; Reuben’s Retreat are currently supporting 467 beneficiaries (29 new individuals in March 2021) and have provided over 460 hours of support including 152 group attendees and 70 hours of counselling, taking our total number of beneficiaries to date to be 1121 …. all have been gently held and supported ~ this takes shape in many special ways; activities, welfare calls, support groups, counselling, meditation, yoga, Rambles and more besides.
This is thanks to you; our army of compassionate hearts – without you all this would not be possible- you give us the opportunity to be able to walk with our families.
