We are seeking an experienced on the road Travel Trade Business Development Executive to join a highly successful travel company based in the South of England.
The ideal travel trade representative will be responsible for growing industry sales by building new relationships with agents and maintaining existing ones.
We are looking for a passionate and ambitious person to work within our clients social and fun team.
Travel Trade Business Development Executive Duties:
- Maximise and grow agency sales in the travel industry in the UK
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our travel agent partners to help make agents remember our client
- Creating and updating training presentations to a high standard
- Provide excellent training sessions to trade partners with enthusiasm and passion including regular sales visits in person, as well as leading webinars
- Provide consistent communication with agency partners to communicate news, product updates, incentives and training
- Attending and hosting (if applicable) travel trade, consumer and conference events.
- Creating fam trips and hosting selected Fam trips
- Updating social media channels with any trade activity on a regular basis
- Regular driving is required, therefore a clean driving license and car is essential
Essential Requirements:
- Full drivers licence and car – car allowance provided.
- B2B sales experience within the travel industry is essential.
- Some knowledge of Latin America ideal but not essential.
- Confident on the phone, face to face or presenting to a group.
- Must be ambitious and driven.
- Enjoys going to functions and social events.
- Good sense of humour!
