Travel Operations Manager Duties:
- Managing the offshore and UK team
- Management of Outlook operations inbox
- Manage and update work allocation spreadsheets
- Allocation of work – ensuring all new confirmations and final documents have an accountable team member
- Oversee bookings at confirmation and finals stage, ensuring timely submission
- Liaison with Sales Team and reacting to any feedback on Ops team performance
- Assisting Clients and Travel agents with queries/requests
- Implement operational processes and streamline procedures, often taking on adhoc projects under own initiative.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience of working for a tour operator in a managerial role is essential
- Working of GDS is essential – ideally Amadeus however cross training is provided if experienced in Galileo or Sabre
- High standard of attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving and planning skills.
