Due to expansion this award winning travel organisation are now looking for an experienced tailormade travel consultant to join their busy and friendly team.
Whether it’s the beaches of the South Pacific Islands or an adventure through outback Australia or small group exploration of pristine New Zealand, Canada and South America, along with holidays to the Scandinavian countries and Russia, and offering specialist European and Asian cruises, this Tour Operator offers it all. This exciting role entails a wide range of tasks in which no day will the same, this includes:
- The experienced tailormade consultant shall be speaking to clients and creating worldwide tailormade itineraries throughout Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa, USA, Caribbean, Indian Ocean, South America and the pacific along with selling bespoke cruises
- Offering a cutting edge customer service
- Up selling travel extras such a car hire, airport lounges and travel insurance
- Building a rapport with the customer and establishing their needs
- Account Managing each customer from start to finish
What are we looking for?
- Positive attitude and proactive approach to your work
- Self-motivated travel consultant, combined with the ability to work as part of a team
- Exceptional customer service skills along with excellent written and oral communication skills. With this role comes a strong emphasis of customer service, maintaining the company’s long reputation.
- Ideally be conversant with CRS such as Amadeus or Galileo, cross training will be provided.
- Experience within a travel agency, business travel or tour operator
