With this exciting opportunity comes a range of exciting tasks in which no day will be the same, this includes:
• Strong emphasis of customer service, maintaining the company’s long reputation. You will be dealing with their established and new travel clients tailormade travel requirements, which will be over the phone, by email and sometimes face to face.
• Selling and booking tailormade travel flights, luxury hotels, tours and travel extras to the discerning clientele.
• Create high quality package and bespoke itineraries specific to your customers’ needs and expectations
• Provide exceptional destination advice and general guidance to customers to assist them from first point of contact and through the booking process
• The ability to ‘present’ your recommendations to your customers in a way that will influence whilst maintaining an exceptional level of attention to detail
• Maintain an excellent degree of knowledge on the destinations and products you are selling
What are we looking for?
• Tailormade travel sales experience from an independent travel agency or tour operator
• Conversant with CRS / GDS system such as Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre or Worldspan
• Good knowledge of Nordic destinations such as Scandinavia
• Excellent attention to detail
• Self-motivated travel consultant combined with the ability to work as part of a team
• Possess exceptional customer service skills along with excellent written and oral communication skills
