New Year – New Opportunity! Our client is a well known and successful corporate travel management company and due to an expansion in our clients portfolio now seeking an experienced business travel consultant to join their friendly and dynamic team.
This exciting business travel role entails various tasks, dealing with a range of mixed travel accounts, this includes:
- Making reservations for flights, hotels and car hire using the Amadeus computerised system.
- Quote and issue published air fares, split ticketing and nett fares in Amadeus
- Reissue air tickets using ticket changer and using manual fare entries.
- Booking hotels and flights with preferred suppliers.
- Quote book and issue UK rail travel using the Evolvi rail system
- Quote book and issue rail journeys outside of the UK with preferred suppliers
- Advise on visa requirements
- Maintain good contact with clients by telephone, letter, E-mail and personal contact.
- Dealing with refunds and making sure invoices are correct.
To be the cut above the rest the successful business travel candidate should have:
- Functional knowledge of CRS such as Amadeus, Galileo, Worldspan or Sabre – cross training provided
- Business Travel experience dealing with a range of corporate clients
- Exceptionally high level of customer service ability
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to build a rapport with clients in confidant and concise manner.
