This exciting luxury travel retail role entails a wide range of tasks in which no day will be the same.
- The experienced retail travel consultant shall be arranging inspiring, worldwide bespoke tailormade journeys throughout Europe, the Far East, Africa, South America, USA, Caribbean and the South Pacific along with cruises and tours.
- Assisting with the retail travel manager and managing a team of retail travel consultants.
- Motivating travel consultants to ensure targets are met.
- Dealing professionally with complaints.
- Booking upmarket accommodation, flights, airport lounges and travel extras
- Speaking with the discerning clientele over the phone, face to face and liaising via email.
- Providing advice and recommendations on destinations to customers.
- Offering a cutting edge customer service.
To be the cut above the rest you must:
- Have excellent worldwide travel knowledge
- Have experience as an assistant manager within an independent travel agency is a must
- Be a motivator and lead by example
- Experience of working in a Travel Agents
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
