Travel Strategic Account Manager London or remote £40k + £10k bonus (PTR 4212)
We are seeking an experienced Travel Strategic Account Manager to join a highly successful travel company. The account manager will be responsible for exceeding budgeted revenue and margin and achieving targets set for customers through the delivery of effective account growth, long term partnership development, and retention plans.
To be successful in this role, you will need to effectively manage external stakeholders within your allocated UK-based portfolio, as well as internal stakeholder groups including Operations Team Managers.
Account Manager Duties:
- Identifying and delivering customer solutions that build long term partnership resilience and retention.
- Delivering the Digital 1st strategy, for example Online Booking and Workflow Solutions.
- Investigating industry trends and customer data to identify new solutions and revenue streams.
- Targeting product mix changes that maximise on contract spend and new revenue streams.
- Reviewing the customer profitability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Essential Requirements:
- Similar account management experience within the travel industry is essential.
- Ability to understand customer needs and finding and tailor solutions to meet those needs.
- Commercially focused and looking to lead success across a substantial portfolio of customers.
- Highly analytical and data driven.
- Experience in collaboration with and coaching others to continuously improve performance.
