This exciting opportunity is ideal for a travel professional with experience in travel sales from a tour operator or travel agent looking to earn generous commission and seeking a rewarding career.
Duties:
- Taking holiday enquiries by phone, email and online.
- Arranging inspiring itineraries across the globe to travellers including Europe, USA, Caribbean, Indian Ocean, Africa, South America, Australia and New Zealand.
- Arranging a wide range of holiday types including cruises, family trips, luxury tailormade travel, beach, honeymoon, ski, wellness, adventure, city breaks, safari’s along with travel extras including tours, airport lounges, car hire, insurance etc.
- Considering clients’ requirements and advising on suitable destinations.
- Checking availability with hotels and airlines.
- Calculating tailor made quotes.
- Confidently presenting quotes to clients by email and telephone.
- Utilising your sales skills to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Holding and booking flights on Galileo GDS
- Booking accommodation
Requirements:
- Tour operator or travel agency experience is essential
- In-depth knowledge of a GDS.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to easily build rapport and lasting relationships.
- Good worldwide geographical knowledge.
