Our client is a successful and expanding school tours company that offer high quality school trips throughout the UK, Europe and Worldwide destinations including London, Poland, Belgium, Germany, USA and Canada. Due to successful expansion and development of their school tours they are now seeking a Groups School Tour Co-ordinator to take on a portfolio of schools for its travel requirements. The ideal travel candidate must be from the travel industry background with travel sales experience preferably groups and schools travel arranging tours within UK, Europe and USA.

This exciting opportunity includes an array of tasks in which each day wont be the same. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining good client relations and for overseeing the organisation of all elements of each tour. This includes transport, accommodation and visits in line with the group leader’s needs. You will be assigned files on a geographical/subject basis so that you become familiar with the destinations and products offered. The ideal travel candidate shall ensure the very highest level of client satisfaction and establish at the outset the details of the enquiry. You shall be providing advice to customers on the content of itineraries and the best use of transport and accommodation available including flights. The experienced Schools Tour Co-ordinator will have the overall responsibility for all issues relating to a tour, from the moment a booking is received, through to the group returning. You shall be using a bespoke IT system as well as standard Microsoft applications to manage the operation of the school tours.

The ideal applicant must be customer service orientated with the ability to prioritise workload, experienced in using Microsoft IT products with the ability to use IT systems. Good European knowledge is essential with experience in organising and selling tours within the travel industry. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is key along with excellent written and communication skills. You must be a self motivated, positive, resourceful and professional with a good eye for detail.
