This exiting opportunity is ideal for a travel sales professional from a tour operator or travel agent with golf travel experience or knowledge/passion for golf. In this role you will use your expertise and golf travel knowledge to tailor-make the perfect holidays from a worldwide portfolio. A key part of this role is to grow and nurture your portfolio of golf clients to ensure repeat business and convert new prospects whilst maintaining the very best customer service.
Luxury Golf Travel Sales Consultants Duties:
- Selling a range of UK, European and Worldwide Golf Resorts products to new clients and develop a new database of repeat clientele.
- Identify each client’s needs and preferences to propose products that meet their needs and expectations.
- Ensure sales opportunities are maximized.
- Using your extensive golf destination knowledge to identify each client’s specific needs and preferences.
- Develop product knowledge by participating in relevant FAM trips and undertaking independent visits as necessary/
Essential Requirements:
- Travel sales experience within a tour operator is essential
- Passionate about golf and play regularly
- Knowledge of GDS such as Amadeus, Galileo or Sabre – ideal but not essential
- Proven ability to close sales
