Our client is a well known and successful corporate travel management company now seeking an experienced Business Travel Manager to join its friendly and dynamic team.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Staff Management (Performance, Training, Absence and Appraisals)
- Driving operational service, quality and efficiencies
- Maintaining a positive client and supplier relationship
- Managing change and demonstrating adaptability
- Dealing with VIP clients
- Process and System Management
- Agent training
- Liaising across all internal departments
- Recruitment
- Ensure maximum earning on all bookings
- Managing around 12 business travel consultants
You will ideally have the following qualifications, skills and abilities:
- Highly effective oral and written communication skills
- GTMC Certification at supervisory or management level would be an advantage, but not essential Airline fares and ticketing knowledge
- People management skills
- Thorough knowledge of the GDS, Sabre preferred
- Business Travel management experience
- Advanced working knowledge of both MS Excel and MS Word
- Effective Presentation Skills (additional training can be provided)
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills
- Ideally be able to drive
