Our client is a successful and award winning luxury tour operator that offers European and Worldwide bespoke itineraries along with elite cruises to the discerning clientele. Due to expansion they are now seeking an experienced Travel Sales Manager to join its friendly and busy team.

This well known tour operator have been offering a range of holiday types for decades, including luxury tailormade travel, cruises, adventure, ski packages, tours, safaris leisure, city breaks, honeymoons and beach packages.

The experienced travel sales manager will be responsible for delivering high-value sales and outstanding personal service to our clients through their team of travel and cruise specialists. Managing and motivating the team to maximise sales from initial leads through to closing the sale and ensuring our clients have fantastic holidays. You shall help grow and promote the travel consultants and to ensure that the marketing department have up to date offers for mail shots and brochures.  You shall also be handling any complex customer or agents complaints, organising staffing along with coaching, motivating and retaining staff and promoting bonus, rewards & incentive schemes.

To be considered for this managers post you must have proven track record of managing leisure sales consultants, gained from a independent retail travel agency or tour operator and have the ability to inspire, motivate and sales teams. The experienced sales manager but possess in depth knowledge of worldwide travel and cruise and be conversant with CRS such as Amadeus or Galileo. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must along with excellent attention to detail. Being results orientated with personal motivation to deliver and exceed targets is a must along with strong time management and personal organisation skills. Confidence with clients is key with a can-do attitude to make things happen.
