Our client is a successful and award-winning tour operator and due to success and expansion, now seeking two experienced Travel Sales Executives to join it’s friendly and busy team. This expanding and well-known tour operator offer a wide range of activity and adventure holidays to many destinations including Africa, Antarctica, Arctic, Asia, Central America, Europe, Middle East, North & South America. This role is ideal for an existing tailor-made travel consultant seeking something a little bit different, who is passionate about adventure travel seeking career progression in which you will be rewarded for your hard work.

This exciting travel sales executive role entails a wide range of tasks in which no day will be the same, this includes:

  • Creating inspiring tailormade holidays to the discerning traveller including direct customers and travel agents over the telephone and via web chat.
  • Achieving and exceeding company, team and individual objectives relating to sales targets, productivity, product knowledge and attendance/punctuality.
  • Building and maintaining great relationships with travel agents, direct customers and industry partners.
  • Advising clients/agents of the best itinerary to suit their needs.
  • To go that extra mile for the customer to obtain repeat business
  • Offering a cutting edge customer service.

What are we looking for?

  • Must have travelled extensively in 3 continents.
  • Educated to a good level
  • Must have strong computer skills, along with previous use of a CRS / GDS system, such as Amadeus, Worldspan, Galileo or Sabre
  • Must be a dynamic sales professional with proven sales ability.
  • Must be self-driven and results oriented.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
