This exciting opportunity is ideal for a luxury travel professional from a tour operator background with sound knowledge of Africa seeking career progression and something a little different. There is the opportunity to also work in product and increase the Africa profile for our client.
Africa Travel Consultant Duties:
- Crafting a wide range of travel types across Africa for clients. This includes adventure trips, small group travel, celebration packages, Tailor-Made trips and many more. Destinations include Botswana, Kenya, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia & Zimbabwe.
- Respond to incoming travel enquiries whist establishing the client’s needs and requirements, through dialogue and good use of question-asking.
- Prepare proposal itineraries and quotes tailored to suits the needs of the client.
- Support marketing with destination/product-related knowledge and fact-checking of content.
Essential Experience
- Extensive experience in travel sales arranging trips to Africa working for a tour operator
- Have proficient knowledge and travel experience in Africa
- Meticulous attention to detail
