Event and Marketing Manager Duties:
- Development, production, and delivery of projects from proposal right up to delivery.
- Research on locations and event choices for multiple cities for corporate and leisure clients.
- Delivering events on time, within budget, that meet (and hopefully exceed) expectations.
- Managing supplier relationships.
- Travel to locations to source contacts if required.
- Providing leadership, motivation, direction, and support to your team.
- Working out event budget, and logistics (hotel, venue, catering, etc).
- Managing effective event management campaigns.
- Managing post-event marketing communications.
- Looking at social media and suggest various marketing opportunities.
Event Manager – Essential Requirements:
- Experience within events from an events company is essential
- In-depth understanding of event management procedures.
- Logistical mindset
- Excellent organisational and coordination skills.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in digital event promotion tools such as social media channels.
- Understanding of key performance indicators in events management.
