Our client is a luxury and award winning tour operator that offer European and worldwide tailormade travel to the discerning clientele. Due to success and expansion they are now seeking an experienced Travel Consultant for its European team for Cyprus and Greece. This well known and dynamic tour operator offer various holiday types including tailormade travel, adventure travel, beaches, city breaks, family vacations, spa holidays, group tours, sailing and self-drives.
This exciting travel role entails a wide range of tasks in which no day will be the same, this includes:
- Creating various inspiring itineraries and holiday types throughout Cyprus and Greece along with assisting the team in other European and Worldwide destinations.
- Deliver a cutting edge customer service
- Enquire travel enquiries are handled effectively over the phone and via email.
- Account managing customers from start to finish
- Dealing with travel documentation
- Attending travel events
- Assist with the development products along with providing suggestions for product development and holiday ideas.
- Participate in exciting FAM trips to increase product knowledge
To be considered for this role you must:
- Have experience within a tour operator or travel agency with good knowledge of Greece and Cyprus
- Ideally conversant with CRS i.e. Amadeus however training is provided
- Must have travelled and sold Greece and Cyprus
- Good sales techniques
- Excellent written English
- Develop good relations with customers, travel partners and suppliers
- Be able to communicate at all levels
- Excellent attention to detail
