Our client is an award winning, well established and inspirational specialist tour operator and due to success and expansion, now seeking an experienced Middle East & North Africa Specialist to join their friendly and busy team. This well known tour operator offer many adventurous and exciting destinations to travellers and rewards its consultants with many travel perks and benefits. If you have sales experience and travelled extensively to the Middle East & North Africa or currently a travel consultant looking to enhance your travel career with a dynamic tour operator, this is the role for you.

This exciting Middle East & North Africa Specialist role entails a wide range of tasks in which no day will be the same, this includes:

• Developing the Middle East & North Africa product to include new destinations and tailor-made products for clients
• Dealing professionally with clients enquiries by phone, email and website.
• Creating inspirational tailor-made itineraries & holidays to the Middle East & North Africa including Oman, Lebanon, Jordan, Iran, Israel, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria and Sudan.
• Offering a cutting edge customer service and using your travel knowledge to provide recommendations.
• Assisting in marketing activities such as coming up with ideas for new products, special offers and writing short articles for our monthly e-mail newsletters.
• Working with marketing team to come up with ideas for PR and social media ideas.
• Attend Trade shows and functions

We are looking for:
• Experienced travel consultants or professionals with sales experience who have travelled extensively to the Middle East & North Africa
• Good knowledge of travel geography, itineraries and visas.
• Attention to detail, ability to plan ahead.
• Able to work on own initiative.
• Customer Service capabilities, able to deal with a variety of clients.
• Multi-tasking skills
• Excellent Telephone manner, clear speaking voice.
• Excellent organisation/communication/interpersonal skills.
• Computer Literate.
• Numerate.
• Understanding of what the adventure/cultural traveller wants to experience.
