This dynamic tour operator are now seeking an experienced Travel Specialist to help the company grow to the next level. This exciting travel specialist role entails a wide range of tasks in which no day will be the same, this includes:
- The creation and conversion of sales of high quality tailor-made itineraries & group tours. Interacting with our clients mostly over the telephone and by email – with some face-to-face meetings and at trade events.
- Destinations include Europe, Caribbean, South East Asia, Indian Sub-Continent and Africa. Offering various holiday types including luxury tailormade, adventure, wildlife, honeymoons, weddings, family holidays, culture and art trips.
- To ensure the product sold to our clients and the supporting information is to the highest standard. Work to support operations team post-sales.
- To achieve levels of client service at all stages of the process to encourage repeat business.
- To up-sell appropriate products where possible.
- Demonstrating a total commitment to customer service. It’s your goal to ensure all clients return home having had a trip which exceeds their expectations.
- Overseas familiarisation trips to expand knowledge and develop product.
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Previous sales experience within luxury travel either within a UK based tour operator or travel agency selling tailormade travel
- Be able to communicate on all levels
- Excellent customer service and selling skills
- Attention to detail
- Can take own initiative and a ‘self-starter’
- Good European and Worldwide product knowledge
- Genuine personal interest in travelling
