This Travel Consultant role entails a wide range of tasks in which no day will be the same:
• Create inspiring journeys throughout the world to the discerning clientele
• Using your travel expertise to create the perfect package for your client
• Account manage clients from start to finish
• Booking flights including business and first class, bespoke hotels and apartments, lounges, excursions, tours, plus many more travel extras
• Making sure clients enjoy their trip from start to finish
• Liaising with suppliers
• Keeping up to date with the latest travel product
• Participating in travel events to increase awareness
To be the cut above the rest you must:
• Be from a tour operator or travel agency with experience of creating travel itineraries to customers.
• Good geographical knowledge
• Well travelled to at least one continent
• Excellent attention to detail
• Pronominal communication skills
• Ability to build a rapport with customers, establish their requirements and convert travel enquires into a sale
• Be passionate about travel
