This travel company offers a wide range of holiday types across the globe to travellers & VIPs from luxury tailormade travel to adventure packages. This role is ideal for an existing travel consultant from a tour operator or travel agency seeking career development, varied job role and the opportunity to progress your career.
Each day will not be the same, duties include:
- Crafting inspiring itineraries across the globe to travellers including Europe, USA, Caribbean, Indian Ocean, Africa, South America, Asia Australia, New Zealand plus many more destinations.
- Arranging a wide range of holiday types, travel extras including tours, airport lounges, car hire, insurance etc.
- Travel types for clients include multi centre, adult packages, cruises, off-the-beaten track, honeymoons, luxury trips, city breaks, adventure, family vacations, tailormade holidays and all-inclusive packages, plus many more.
- Handling
- Liaising with suppliers.
- Offering a cutting edge customer service.
- Converting incoming enquiries to a sale.
- Building a rapport with customers over the phone.
Essential Requirements:
- Must have sales experience within the travel industry either from a travel agency or tour operator.
- GDS experience is essential such as Sabre, Amadeus or Galileo.
- Able to build a rapport with customers.
- Excellent communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
