This well established luxury travel company offers an array of bespoke travel itineraries across the globe for VIPs.
Luxury Travel Consultant Duties:
- Prepare tailormade bespoke travel itineraries for leisure and high end clients.
- Book bespoke boutique hotels and flights matching client requirements.
- Keep up to date with the variety of travel options available in the leisure sector.
through on line and specialist travel magazine articles.
- Maintaining relationships with properties.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the variety of travel options available to the client.
- Book and facilitate all aspects of the client’s travel, such as transfers, airport lounges, VIP services, car hire etc.
- Using GDS to book flights and issue-reissue tickets.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience of working in the luxury leisure travel industry within sales ideally arranging travelling for VIPs
- Good IT skills with the ability to quickly learn new software
- GDS experience such as Galileo, Amadeus or Sabre
- Knowledge of specialised travel related IT systems e.g. Amadeus
- First class customer service skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Travel product knowledge
