Due to remarkable growth in travel now seeking an experienced Hotel & Events Group Consultant to join their team at their London office. We would consider candidates from a hotel reservations background, tour operator, wholesale travel company or travel agent. Monday to Friday office hours with a generous bonus structure is on offer.
Duties
- Taking hotel reservations over email, telephone and via other mediums.
- Offering a cutting edge customer service.
- Promptly replying with suitable options to clients to ensure customers receive prompt correct responses.
- Negotiating hotel rates.
- Processing accommodation or event bookings and sending detailed confirmations.
- Delivering or sending VIP gifts to hotels if required.
- Meeting some clients and hotels.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in making reservations in a hotel or travel agency is essential
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- An excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Professional and warm personality
- Exceptional customer care skills
- Ability to negotiate rates with hotels and/or find innovative solutions
- Sales driven
- Meticulous attention to detail
- UK, Europe & USA Geographical Knowledge
- Computer knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
