We are seeking a driven German Speaking Travel Specialist to join a successful and forward thinking travel company based in Kent. This exciting role is ideal for a travel professional from a tour operator or travel agent background seeking career development and something a little different. We would consider a German speaker looking for a career in the travel industry as training is provided.
German Speaking Travel Specialist Duties
- Exceeding customer expectations for their travel requirements
- Manage inbound communication with travel guests.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth business operations
- Continuously enhance your knowledge of Tuscany and Umbria
- Develop a deep understanding of the available villa properties
- Assist in managing business-related social media platforms
- Perform translation tasks as needed
- Contribute to maintaining the high standards of company websites
Essential Requirements:
- Experience within the travel industry is ideal but not essential
- Exceptional German (native level) and English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Maintain a positive and customer-centric attitude
- Proficient in office software and computer skills
- Openness to acquiring new skills to drive the company’s progress
