The Travel Consultant position will ideally suit dynamic, highly motivated, enthusiastic, sales and customer service focused travel individuals, who are not afraid to objection handle, can confidently close and who can achieve results. This exciting corporate and leisure travel sales consultant role includes an array of tasks in which no day will be the same, this includes:
- Dealing with leisure and corporate callers who are responding to adverts they have seen in the media.
- Selling and booking bespoke travel itineraries, tours, adventure travel, city breaks, beach holidays, group travel, off the beaten track, self-drive packages, flights, hotels, villas, apartments, flight upgrades and travel extras.
- Develop excellent relationships and build ongoing accounts and future business with both leisure and corporate clients.
- Travelling to exotic and elite worldwide destinations.
- Offering a cutting edge customer service
What are looking for?
- Account management and business development skills
- Sales experience within a tour operator, travel agency or business travel
- As you will be selling the most beautiful places in the world, your own travel experiences will be useful
- A passion for travel is essential along with a proven sales track record
- Good European and Worldwide geographical knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
