This exciting opportunity is ideal for a driven travel agent or tour operator professional with good knowledge of Asia.
Asia Travel Specialist Duties:
- Crafting and selling a range of trips across Asia including Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, plus many more iconic destinations.
- Identifying and meeting customers’ needs by providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Support website maintenance & development to ensure products are marketed professionally and effectively
- Support social media campaigns to promote offers, generate customer engagement and sales leads
- Assist with development of tours, coordinating with overseas suppliers and UK organisations.
- Participate in promotional events and activities.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in travelling and selling Southeast Asian destinations within a tour operator, in particular Indonesia.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel and Outlook). A pleasant telephone manner is essential and the ability to create well worded emails.
- Attention to detail is vital, as is the ability to follow through with all aspects of the holiday arrangements once a sale is confirmed.
