Our client is a long established and successful tour operator, now seeking an experienced Africa Safari Specialist to join its friendly team due to expansion. This award winning tour operator offer a wide range of holiday types around the world including Custom Tailored Safaris, Flying safaris, Camping Safaris, Escorted Bush Walks, Golf Safari’s, Beach Holidays, Cultural, & Historical Excursions, Self Drive safaris, City Breaks plus many more.
This exciting Africa Safari Travel Consultant role entails a wide range of tasks in which no day will be the same, this includes:
- Creating trips to East Africa
- Account managing clients
- Liaising with the product department
- Using your Africa product knowledge to provide advice and recommendations
- Communicating with global agents
- Offering a cutting edge customer service
- Booking accommodation, trips and travel extras
- Participating in exciting optional FAM trips to increase product knowledge
What are we looking for?
- Must have travelled or sold Africa safaris
- Experience within a travel agency or tour operator is essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to provide an excellent standard of customer service
- Passionate about Africa
- Meticulous attention to detail
