Due to success and expansion, we are now seeking an ambitious Business Development Executive who will be proactive, innovative and hard working to join our clients friendly and fun team. This role ideal for an experienced Business Development Executive with experience within the travel industry looking for a diverse role which offers career progression and generous bonus and benefits.
This very exciting Business Development Executive role entails a wide range of tasks in which no day will be the same, this includes:
• The successful Business Development Executive will be significantly growing the business across the UK, North America and other International markets by contacting universities across the UK.
• Utilising warm leads along with generating sales leads by increasing the number of returning students to book travel with our client, attending trade fairs, exhibitions and making presentations.
• Sustain and improve the current business and generate new leads.
• Develop relationships with university student societies in order to increase awareness secure promotional opportunities.
• Although this position is predominately based in the UK at the head office in West Sussex there will be certain periods of the year where travel within the UK for university events.
To be the cut above the rest you must:
• Have experience in business development within the travel industry.
• Minimum 2 years proven sales and presentation experience within travel.
• Energetic, focused and results orientated mentality, with the confidence to achieve targets and generate sales leads.
• Excellent written and communication skills with the ability to conduct presentations professionally.
• Be a natural networker.
• Applicants must be able to work both independently and as an efficient and proactive team member.
• The ideal candidate must display initiative and a drive to learn.
• Excellent relationship building and presentation skills and the ability to engage with people of all ages and at all academic levels.
• Full clean driving licence and valid passport is essential.
