Platinum Travel Recruitment are collaborating with a fabulous forward thinking travel company who are now seeking an experienced Cruise Team Leader to join their team.
This is an exciting role ideal for a team leader, supervisor or manager with experience in the travel industry within a tour operator or travel agent specialising in cruises.

The experienced Cruise Team Leader shall be supporting the Reservations Manager in the effective day-to-day running and management of the Cruise Department. The role will be responsible for supporting to achieve monthly revenue, commission and land targets, whilst ensuring consistently high levels of customer service.
Cruise Team Leader – Duties:
- Support the effective and efficient day-to-day management of the Cruise Department.
- Create a team culture that thrive to make improvements to the service provided.
- Helping with day-to-day queries from the team, providing guidance, support & assistance where needed.
- Assist to coach & develop the Cruise team to ensure best practice in sales and performance.
- Promote and drive the sales to support marketing campaigns, airlines of the month, cruise lines of the month, preferred airlines and key suppliers.
- Monitor staff performance.
- Provide regular feedback to the Operations Manager on team performance, highlighting key achievements.
- Through own self development and training maintain up to date knowledge of products and Industry developments
Cruise Team Leader – Essential Requirements:
- Management, team lead or supervisory experience within a tour operator specialising in cruises.
- Able to communicate effectively.
- able to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent product & system knowledge including Cruise systems, Amadeus, Travelport, Vibe & Dolphin.
