Travel Manager – Peterborough / Cambridge – £35k + bonus (PTR 3095)

With an outstanding reputation for service, innovation and integrity, they are now seeking an experienced Travel Manager to join the small & friendly team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, people-focused travel manager with experience as a team leader, supervisor, or equivalent who wants to make a real impact shaping a team, driving performance, and helping deliver unforgettable travel experiences.
Travel Manager Duties:
- Take ownership of the day-to-day running of the small sales and administration team
- Ensuring processes are followed and the team is motivated, supported and performing at their best, all while maintaining the high standards our clients and partners expect.
- You will work closely with senior leadership to ensure targets are met, processes are followed, and the team continues to grow in a positive, productive way.
- Ensure all team members are meeting and exceeding KPIs and performance targets
- Identify and implement improvements to drive efficiency and sales growth
- Provide coaching, feedback and development for team members
- Oversee HR responsibilities, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and absence management.
Travel Manager – Essential Requirements:
- Experience managing a sales and/or operations team within the travel industry either in retail or tour operator or similar
- Excellent leadership, communication and people-management skills

To be considered for the Travel Manager role the applicant must have some management experience either as a team leader, supervisor or manager happy to manage a small team from a travel background.
