Our client is a leading and dynamic tour operator now seeking experienced and energetic Travel Sales Consultants to join its award winning team. This exciting travel consultant role entails a wide range of tasks in which no day will be the same:
- Creating, planning and booking holidays to direct customers and agents throughout Europe, USA, Canada Caribbean, Far East and Middle East.
- Using your sales techniques to turn enquiries into bookings and promote additional services.
- Building a rapport with customers and agents and establishing their needs and requirements.
- Up selling travel extras such as car hire, trips, travel insurance, airport lounges and airport parking.
- Using your European and Worldwide destination knowledge to provide recommendations and advice.
What are we looking for?
- Must have travel sales experience within a tour operator or travel agency.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Strong understanding of European and worldwide destinations.
- Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience of using a CRS such as Worldspan, Galileo, Amadeus or Sabre would be an advantage, but not essential as training is provided.
- Excellent customer service skills.
