Our client is a luxury tour operator who have been established  for over 35 years now seeking an experienced travel customer service executive to join its friendly and busy team due to expansion. This elite tour operator offer a wide range on holiday types from luxury tailormade travel to adventure tours for direct customers throughout Europe, USA, Caribbean, Far East, Middle East, Indian Ocean and the Pacific. This exciting travel customer service role entails a wide range of tasks in which no day will be the same, this includes:

  • Dealing directly with clients and suppliers in the UK and overseas by telephone, fax and e-mail regarding:
  • Making amendments to bookings
  • Pre and post travel
  • Administration
  • Confirmation of online bookings
  • Client queries
  • Cancellations
  • Taking payments
  • Servicing Requests (e.g. meal requests, wheelchair access)

What are we looking for?

  • All applicants must have experience within the travel industry in a sales, customer service ticketing or administration role.
  • Knowledge of tour operation, nett fares and ticketing is also ideal
  • The ideal candidate will be confident, organised and very customer service focused with an excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
  • Conversant with CRS such as Galileo or Sabre
  • Meticulous attention to detail
