We are seeking an experienced Italian Speaking Business Travel Consultant for a highly successful and long established travel company due to remarkable growth to work remotely. This opportunity is ideal for a leisure or business travel consultant conversant with GDS looking for an exciting career. We would consider travel professionals relocating from Italy to the UK as the role is homeworking.
Duties:
- Looking after customers travel needs from first enquiry to travel completed whether by phone or email
- Provide a professional consultancy service for all clients, anticipating their needs and offering a range of value added solutions to exceed their expectations.
- Book a range of travel products and offer professional advice, inclusive of our specialist fares.
- Use a Consultative Sales approach
- Achieve and maintain targets whilst working efficiently
- Regularly check and action airline queue messages and monitor existing bookings that are on hold.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in business or leisure travel is essential
- Fluent in speaking Italian & English
- Legal right to work and live in the UK full time
- Native GDS experience, such as Amadeus, Sabre or Galileo
- High level of written and verbal communication skills who can deal with clients over the phone, emails and other channels such as webchats and social media
