Group & Events Business Travel Consultant remote – up to £28k + monthly bonus (PTR 4149)

Due to remarkable growth, we are seeking an experienced Group & Events Business Travel Consultant to join a highly successful travel company, working remotely.

This exciting role is ideal for a business or leisure travel professional with experience in handling group travel, conversant with GDS.

Group & Events Business Travel Consultant Duties

• Responsible for servicing and supporting customers globally with groups, meetings, and event enquiries.
• Creating new travel bookings and supporting all post-confirmation enquiries, such as changes and cancelations, while also maintaining an exceptional level of customer service.
• Up-selling travel extras such as flight upgrades, airport lounges and other travel ancillaries to maximise revenue.
• Focusing on group flight and hotel bookings across the globe.
• Building relationships with and working alongside internal partners such as Product, Finance, and Commercial.
• Partnering with Destination Management Companies and event providers to offer additional products globally.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience within group travel & events from a leisure or business travel background within the UK or overseas – must have full working rights to work full time in the UK.
• Native GDS experience such as Sabre, Galileo or Amadeus is imperative.
• Keen to develop new skills and happy to try something new.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
