We are seeking an experienced Business Travel Consultant to join a highly successful travel company working from home, day shifts and out of hours overnight. We would consider leisure travel professionals with GDS experience looking for a career in business travel.

The Role
- Book a range of travel products and offer professional advice. This includes accommodation, flights using GDS, trains, events, car hire plus more.
- Looking after our customers travel needs from first enquiry to travel completed.
- Handling live customer travel issues outside of standard office hours to support their travel needs.
- Provide a professional consultancy service for all clients, anticipating their needs and offering a range of value added solutions.
- Regularly check and action airline queue messages and monitor existing bookings that are on hold.
Essential requirements
- Passion and experience in business or leisure travel.
- GDS experience is essential.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills who can deal with clients over the phone, emails and other channels such as webchats and social media.
Candidates must be from a leisure or business travel background happy to work a few nights a month.
