This role is ideal for an experienced and driven business development manager from an events, tourism or corporate travel background seeking progression and something a little different.
Your career begins here, duties include:
- Maximise business growth by prospecting, developing, defining, negotiating and closing new business relationships.
- Identify new customers in the leisure and corporate sectors and other potential new markets, customise suitable products, present to them and convert them into clients.
- Screening potential business sales by analysing market strategies and agreement requirements.
- Identify trendsetter ideas and event products by researching industry and related events and publications.
- Plan approaches and pitch documents and presentations.
- Participate in delivering a commercially viable yet industry competitive pricing structure.
- Close new business sales by providing the appropriate event product for the client’s needs and goals.
- Experience in business development either from the events sector, leisure travel or corporate travel industry
- Ability to close sales and have a motivation for sales with strong prospecting skills
