We are seeking a high energised B2B Sales Director to join a highly successful and growing elite events company working from home.
This opportunity is ideal for a driven B2B Sales Director or business development professional from an events, healthcare, distribution & logistics, pharmacy, technology, cyber security, or similar background seeking an exciting opportunity with a dynamic events company.
This exciting opportunity offers great growth potential and the opportunity to drive the sales function, shape the product offering, and lead the company’s market expansion.
The successful candidate for this position will both drive and support activities related to expanding into new markets and recruiting for new supplier and buyer groups while ensuring seamless interdepartmental collaboration on digital networking events.
Success will be determined by introducing client lists and move prospects through the sales pipeline.
- Establish long-term relationships with buyers and suppliers in various sectors such as financial services, technology, healthcare, logistics etc
- Working with Associates to develop C-Suite leads through professional networking, research, and outreach techniques.
- Being the lead on new market strategies and introducer with prospective clients.
- Understanding evolving business terrains and effectively articulating the value proposition to prospective clients.
- Executing the company’s sales methodology and new member acquisition targets in each of the buyer and supplier groups
- Providing regular and structured market feedback to product leaders to help shape international product offerings
- Work with Commercial Operations and Strategy to support the launch of new product offerings internationally.
- Strong Business to Business (B2B) sales experience in or out of the events industry
- Able to bring a portfolio of clients (buyers) looking to secure events in any industry along with suppliers is ideal but not essential
- Solution based sales experience within B2B
- Proven sales record to C-Suite executives
- Successful experience in sales environments with an emphasis on high volume transactional achievement
- Solid understanding of business concepts & dynamics for large national and international corporations
- Excellent presentation, communication, and writing skills
This role is ideal for one with strong B2B supplier and buyer contacts with an entrepreneurial spirit and proven sales track record to build new contacts which is ideal but not essential.
