We are seeking an experienced Aviation Manager to join a well established travel company who will be responsible for all aspects of Aviation, building of relationships with airlines, securing new deals and marketing funds, meeting sales targets and driving sales of preferred airlines through the business.
Essential Requirements:
- Aviation management experience
- Good attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent worldwide knowledge, airline and fares knowledge
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the travel team are updated with new fares, special fares, changes to routings by communicating effectively daily fare updates and update vibe daily
- Produce airline reports for preferred airlines, flown revenue and booked revenue on a monthly basis
- Assist with GDS Relationship at an operational level
- Organise, Attend and Minute Airline Meetings with Airlines and secure exclusive fares, marketing funds and Airline of the Months
- Monitor competitor activity
- Monitor the website and e-shots
- Incentive management and co-ordination, including providing accounts with invoicing information and updating of spreadsheets.
- Specialist Fare Management, to include cruise fares, cat 35, e-global, corporate fares and one-way flights ensure that they are loaded into all the GDS systems
- Analysing fares & airline information
- Assist with Airline Marketing Plans
